Hilltop Hoops: Westside Revival is a documentary series directed by Zach Fleer of 270 Hoops. The series will follow high school basketball teams and players on the west side of Columbus, documenting their journeys as the programs look to rise to new heights. Episodes will be released on YouTube every two weeks beginning on Sunday, November 13. The series will primarily follow Columbus West and Columbus Briggs high schools, with a smaller focus on Bishop Ready, Franklin Heights, Central Crossing and Westland. This series will shine a light on the teams that have largely gone unnoticed over the last decade. We believe this series will help inspire young athletes at these schools to work hard, both in the classroom and on the court. The purpose of Hilltop Hoops comes out of Jesus’ famed Sermon on the Mount, when He said “a city on a Hilltop cannot be hidden.” It’s time to shine a light on the Hilltop and show the kids that they are indeed the Light of the world. We believe God will use this series to inspire generations and create lasting memories for west side youth.
